MP Raghav Chadha Raises Concerns Over Air Travel Issues in Parliament, Criticizes Rising Fares and Service Gaps
New Delhi 29 November 2024: Senior Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader and Rajya Sabha MP Raghav Chadha raised a notice in the Rajya Sabha, urging the suspension of scheduled proceedings to discuss an urgent and significant issue on Friday. The matter addresses the atrocities, attacks, and injustices committed against Hindus in Bangladesh, along with the recent unjust arrest of ISKCON saint Chinmoy Das Ji.

In a media interaction, senior AAP leader and Rajya Sabha MP Raghav Chadhy stated, “Today, I filed a notice in the Rajya Sabha to suspend proceedings and demanded that the Rajya Sabha set aside the scheduled business for the day to discuss the atrocities, attacks, and injustices against Hindus in Bangladesh.” Additionally, I raised the matter of the recent unjust arrest of ISKCON’s saint, Chinmoy Das Ji.”
Raghav Chadha Requests Discussion in the House
The AAP Rajya Sabha MP further elaborated on his request for an urgent discussion in the Rajya Sabha.Raghav Chadha said, “I requested a discussion in the House on this matter and urged the External Affairs Minister to inform the House about the steps the Indian government has taken in its dialogue with the Bangladeshi authorities.”
“I specifically asked: What outcomes or results have we achieved so far?” Is the Hindu community in Bangladesh now safe? The AAP MP asked, “Will Chinmoy Das Ji be released soon?”

The AAP MP also emphasized the importance of accountability and a strong parliamentary stance on such issues. “I also demanded that the government provide answers in the House on all these points and bring a resolution in the Rajya Sabha to condemn these incidents.”
“All parties should unanimously pass this resolution, sending a strong message to both the Bangladeshi government and the entire world.”It is the responsibility of India’s Parliament to take such a stand,” Raghav Chadha stated.
