The General Body Meeting (GBM) of Mohyal Sabha Panchkula was held today at Ram Mandir, Sector 2, beginning with the recitation of the Gayatri Mantra.

The gathering paid heartfelt tribute to the late Sh. H.D. Bali, the long-serving President of the Sabha, on his 4th death anniversary. Members observed a two-minute silence in his memory and prayed for the peace of his soul, seeking his blessings from the heavens for the continued progress of the Sabha.
Leaders Reflect on Legacy; 40 New Members Join Sabha
Lt Gen B.K.N. Chhibber shared his thoughts on “Mohyaliat,” praising the Mohyal community for its rich legacy, unity, and pride. He commended the dignity and cultural heritage upheld by the community.
Subash Chhibber, current President of Mohyal Sabha Panchkula, spoke about the commendable contributions of Sh. H.D. Bali. He highlighted that Bali ji served a remarkable tenure of over 23 years as President and successfully organized two Mohyal Melas during that time.
A significant moment of the meeting was the enrollment of over 40 new life members who joined the Sabha after completing their subscription process.
Members also took part in fun and engaging activities. They participated in activities such as Tambola and a musical race. They also enjoyed a sweet performance — a melodious song by a young child, fondly referred to as a “little angel.”
The Sabha extended warm congratulations to Mr. & Mrs. Amit, Secretary of the Sabha, on their 22nd wedding anniversary.
Two new families were welcomed into the Mohyal community:
- Mr. & Mrs. Gautam Mehta: Mr. Mehta is retired from Punjab National Bank, while Mrs. Sushma Mehta works at the BEL Factory in Panchkula.
- Mrs. Sumistha Mehta: Recently retired as a Librarian from the Panjab University Law Department.
The meeting concluded with a message from President Subash Chhibber. He expressed gratitude to all attendees for their enthusiastic participation. He also appreciated their commitment to the Mohyal Sabha Panchkula.
