RAJEEV VIHAR ARMY WELFARE HOUSING SOCIETY CELEBRATES 76TH REPUBLIC DAY
Rajeev Vihar Army Welfare Housing Society, Sector 13, Chandigarh, celebrated 76th Republic Day with immense zeal, pride and unity. The occasion had spirited participation from armed forces veterans. Their families and civilian residents came together. Together they honoured the nation’s democracy, development and progress.
Society Celebrates with Flag Unfurling and Honours for Exceptional Contributions
The celebrations started with the unfurling of the National Flag by Colonel DS Sra (Veteran), President of the Society. He extended his warm greetings to the residents and their families. The highlight of the proceedings was recognizing individuals. They have made exceptional contributions towards the Society’s upliftment and the welfare of its residents. Col Sra honoured a few members. The members included Brig (Dr) Ajay Sharma (Retd), Dr Kapil K Chattree, Advocate DK Tuteja. It also included Advocate ADS Jattana and Sh Subhash Chibber. Their unwavering dedication and support to the Society and its Residents are commendable.

These individuals have played a pivotal role in strengthening the fabric of the Society. They guarantee its growth and foster a sense of bonhomie, unity, and mutual bond among the residents.
The event was further distinguished by the large presence of Army veterans. Many of them proudly donned their medals and service caps. This reflected their enduring commitment to the country. Their distinguished presence added an extra layer of pride and patriotism to the occasion. To conclude the celebrations, sweets were distributed to the residents and staff,
fostering a sense of unity and camaraderie.
