Workshops on Rashtriya Karmayogi Large Scale Jan Seva Programme Phase-2 at PGIMER, Chandigarh
PGIMER, Chandigarh successfully conducted two 3-days workshops for training Master Trainers under the Rashtriya Karmayogi Large Scale Jan Seva Programme (RKLSJSP) Phase-2 from 11th to 13th November 2025 and 17th to 19th November 2025. The training was conducted with the support of Illumine Knowledge Resources, the official knowledge partner for this programme. These training sessions provided an in-depth understanding of the design, methodology, and impact framework of the Large-Scale Jan Seva Programme.
PGIMER : programme builds a cadre of capable and purpose-aligned professionals.
Over the course of three days, participants engaged in a series of structured sessions designed to equip them with tools to facilitate large-scale transformation in governance, particularly in frontline service delivery. The programme encouraged reflection on the role of public servants as Karmayogi—committed to integrity, effectiveness, and citizen-centric service. The programme builds a cadre of capable and purpose-aligned professionals. It directly contributes to the broader vision of Mission Karmayogi. The goal is to create a responsive, agile, and future-ready civil service.
The workshop aimed to build institutional capacity. It also sought to facilitate mindset transformation among professionals. This enabled them to drive large-scale citizen service initiatives. The first workshop brought together 24 participants. The second workshop included 29 participants. These participants comprised faculty and staff members from different departments of PGIMER, Chandigarh. They underwent intensive training designed to help them serve as catalysts of change within the organization.
Lead trainers conducted the workshop. Dr Sushma Kumari Saini is an Associate Professor at the National Institute of Nursing Education, PGIMER, Chandigarh. Dr Ashutosh Kumar is an Assistant Professor at NIPER SAS Nagar, Mohali. Ms Priyanka Arora, RKY Mentor representing the Capacity Building Commission, has helped in facilitating this 3-days program. The program has been conducted under the guidance and support of Sh. Ummed Mathur, Nodal Officer, RKLSJSP, and Registrar, PGIMER Chandigarh.
