Annual General Body Meeting at Rajeev Vihar Reviews Progress, Approves Budget for 2026–27
Rajeev Vihar, June — The Annual General Body Meeting of Rajeev Vihar was held to review society activities and financial expenditures for the period April 2025 to March 2026, while also outlining plans for the upcoming financial year 2026–27.
The meeting focused on key areas including completed projects, financial performance, and future development initiatives.
Infrastructure Upgrades Completed
During the session, Joint Financial Secretaries Col Jagdish and Col G.S. Goraya, along with the Vice President (Technical), presented details of recently completed works. These included the repair of parapet walls across all 31 blocks, along with oil-bound distemper painting. Additionally, significant improvements were carried out on the boundary wall of the Rajeev Vihar Complex.
Strong Financial Performance
Highlighting the society’s financial health, former President Col Narinder Singh praised Finance Secretary Col Jagdish for his efficient management, which resulted in savings of approximately ₹6 lakh for the society.
Budget Approved Unanimously
The members unanimously approved the budget for the previous financial year. Discussions also set the groundwork for future projects planned for 2026–27. Col Narinder Singh extended his voluntary support for upcoming initiatives, reflecting strong community participation.
Acknowledgements and Celebration
Immediate President Col Devinder Singh Sra expressed gratitude to all members for their cooperation and collective efforts in the society’s progress.
The meeting concluded on a celebratory note, with a high tea hosted by Brig B.M. Bakshi for the residents. The gathering also marked the promotion of his son-in-law to the prestigious rank of Major General.
