CHANDIGARH (June 30): In a historic and monumental move, the Punjab Government led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann is all set to fulfill its biggest poll guarantee tomorrow. On July 1st, around 32 lakh women across Punjab will hear their phone notification alerts buzz as direct cash transfers hit their bank accounts.
Under the newly launched ‘Chief Minister Mawan Dhiyan Satkar Yojana’, the Social Security Department has finalized all arrangements to roll out the monthly financial aid, bringing massive smiles to families across the state.

To make the rollout even bigger, the government is releasing three months’ worth of accumulated funds in one single go tomorrow. The direct cash distribution will follow this structure:

The government has issued a reassuring update for women who haven’t received their cards or completed their verification yet. Officials clarified that even if a beneficiary’s card is processed late, their financial aid will be calculated effectively from April 1st. This means no one will lose out, and all pending arrears will be cleared in full.
CM Bhagwant Mannโs Assurance: “This is not a one-time relief. This financial dignity amount will be credited into the accounts of our mothers and sisters every single month without fail, ensuring their financial independence.”
Amplifying the hype, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) took to its official social media handles with a teaser stating, “Something massive is happening in Punjab on July 1st.” With billions allocated for this scheme out of a โน9,200 crore budget, tomorrow marks a historic shift in Punjab’s welfare landscape.
