Operation Sindhu reaffirms PM's commitment to ensure safety of overseas Indians in crisis: Chugh
Chandigarh/New Delhi: 19 June 2025 ; BJP National General Secretary Tarun Chugh hailed the successful execution of Operation Sindhu. He called it Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s commitment to ensure safety of Indian citizens across the globe.
Indian government successfully has rescued 110 Indian nationals
Chugh said that amidst the ongoing Iran-Israel conflict, the Indian government has not only acted swiftly but also successfully rescued 110 Indian nationals stranded in Iran. Notably, this group included 90 students from Jammu & Kashmir. Moreover, the government ensured their safe return home, reaffirming its commitment to the safety of Indian citizens abroad.
“This is not the first time India has shown such global responsibility.In Operation Ganga in Ukraine, PM Modi demonstrated India’s commitment. The evacuations from the Middle East also demonstrated this commitment. During the humanitarian relief efforts in the Nepal earthquake, he also showed India’s firm commitment. The safety of its people is a priority. India is dedicated to extending support to friendly nations. Chugh said.

He added that Operation Sindhu is not just a rescue mission. It is a declaration to the world. India stands by its people in every crisis, no matter where they are.
