Nitin Gadkari Announces ₹3,000 FASTag-Based Annual Pass for Private Vehicles, Effective August 15, 2025
New Delhi, June 18, 2025 — Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways, Shri Nitin Gadkari, has announced the launch of a FASTag-based Annual Pass. The pass is priced at ₹3,000 and will be effective from August 15, 2025. This is a major step toward simplifying highway travel for private vehicle owners.
This groundbreaking initiative aims to transform travel on National Highways across India. It offers seamless, affordable, and efficient toll payments for non-commercial private vehicles such as cars, jeeps, and vans.
🔹 Key Features of the Annual FASTag Pass:
- Price: ₹3,000
- Validity: 1 year from activation date or up to 200 trips—whichever is earlier
- Eligibility: Only for non-commercial private vehicles
- NHAI and MoRTH will make activation and renewal available via the Rajmarg Yatra App and their official websites.
