The ban comes at a time when Pakistan is grappling with a deepening economic crisis, further intensifying the impact of India’s latest action. “Officials stated that the move sends a clear message against cross-border terrorism and those who support it.”
India has not taken this as its first stern step in recent weeks. Earlier, the Indian government announced the cancellation of the Indus Water Treaty and directed Pakistani nationals residing in India to leave the country.
