Chandigarh, February 25: The Shiromani Akali Dal leaders and workers demanded an extension. Consequently, the party extended the date to submit forms for recruitment by three days. The new deadline is February 28 till 5.00 PM. Giving more details, SAD Secretary, Spokesman and former Education Minister Dr. Daljit Singh Cheema disclosed that party workers are enthusiastic on recruitment for the party in Punjab and other states.

SAD Extended timeline to deposit forms

He said that they were working hard day and night to fulfill their mission. He said that today many leaders assembled at the party head office. They came to deposit lists of circle delegates and requisite fees. He said that acceding to demand of party workers, SAD working President S. Balwinder Singh Bhunder has extended timeline to deposit forms for recruitment. He said that party’s Parliamentary Board has taken this decision in keeping with demand of workers and leaders

Dr. Cheema further said that the party has scheduled a Parliamentary Board meeting on February 27, 2025, at 2:00 PM at the party head office to review the recruitment drive and decide the next course of action. He also thanked all the workers, leaders, and observers involved in the recruitment process.
