Significant Victory for AAP in Jalandhar: Vineet Dhir Elected as New Mayor
Jalandhar/Chandigarh, January 11 ; Mayor ship : Aam Aadmi Party’s (AAP) Councillor Vineet Dhir (Ward Number 62) has won the mayoral election. He is the new Mayor. He will lead the Jalandhar Municipal Corporation.
The authorities have appointed Balbir Singh Bittu Dhillon as the Senior Deputy Mayor, and Malkeet Singh will serve as the Deputy Mayor.
CM congratulated the newly elected office-bearers
Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann congratulated the three newly elected office-bearers. He said that the Aam Aadmi Party government is committed to developing Jalandhar. He added that the city’s development and modernization remain a top priority.

The people of Jalandhar gave the Aam Aadmi Party a decisive mandate in the municipal elections. This mandate enabled the party to appoint a Mayor. They could also appoint a Deputy Mayor and a Senior Deputy Mayor with a clear majority today. He thanked the people of Jalandhar and assured them that he would resolve local issues on a priority basis.
