Several Congress and BJP Leaders Join the Party; State President Aman Arora Welcomes All
Ludhiana, December 12: The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has gained further strength in Ludhiana. Kamaljit Singh Karwal was formerly in charge of Atam Nagar with Congress. He is currently a BJP leader. He joined the Aam Aadmi Party on Thursday.
Along with Kamaljit Singh, several other Congress and BJP leaders also joined the Aam Aadmi Party. The leaders include former Congress councilor Gurpreet Singh Gopi, and Congress leaders Sukhwinder Singh Kochar and Baljinder Singh Kahlon. Lok Insaf Party leader Vikrant Sharma and former BJP councilor Ranjit Singh Ubhi are also part of this group. Another member is Baljinder Singh Kahlon, a current district council member. The list continues with Jagjit Singh Bham. It also includes BJP leaders Davinder Singh Walia, Sukhwant Singh Ubhi, Ravi Sharma Neeta, Ranveer Singh Ubhi, and Preet Gudani.
Aam Aadmi Party Punjab President Aman Arora formally inducted all leaders into the party at the party’s Chandigarh office. He extended a warm welcome to them into the AAP family. On this occasion, Cabinet Minister Hardeep Singh Mundian and the party’s co-president Amansher Singh Sharry Kalsi were present. MLA Dev Mann, AAP leader Dr. Sunny Ahluwalia, and senior party spokesperson Neel Garg were also there.
Aman Arora welcomed all the leaders into the party. He said that the Aam Aadmi Party is receiving positive responses from people across all regions in the municipal elections. He added that leaders are consistently joining AAP from various parties. This demonstrates the Aam Aadmi Party’s readiness for a big victory in these elections. He assured all the new members that they would be given due respect in the party.
