50,000 GOVERNMENT JOBS GIVEN TO YOUTH IN 32 MONTHS, MORE IN PIPELINE: ANNOUNCES CM
Patiala, December 3: Continuing mission rozgar, the Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann on Tuesday announced that though the state has so far provided jobs to nearly 50,000 youth in the state but it will soon launch a massive employment drive in key departments like Health, Education and others to further provide govt jobs to the youth.
CM Announces Massive Employment Drive in Key Sectors
The Chief Minister addressed the gathering today while handing over appointment letters to the youth, emphasizing the state government’s commitment to providing ample opportunities for the youth to excel in life. He highlighted that the government has already created around 50,000 jobs and assured the opening of new avenues to enable youth to actively contribute to the state’s socio-economic growth. Bhagwant Singh Mann also stated that, along with creating new jobs, efforts are underway to explore ways to accommodate those who have exceeded the age limit while protesting for employment.

The Chief Minister urged the youth to recognize that success has no shortcuts and that hard work is the only key to triumph.He asked the youth to work hard and keep trying to achieve success in life so that they can achieve their desired goals in life. Bhagwant Singh Mann said that the state government will leave no stone unturned to facilitate the youth in this noble cause.
The Chief Minister reiterated the commitment of the state government to ensure the well being of youth and opening new vistas of employment for them. Bhagwant Singh Mann expressed immense pride and satisfaction, stating that till date, around 50,000 youth have secured these posts purely on the basis of merit.He said that now these youth have become integral part of the government adding that now should serve the people with missionary zeal.

The Chief Minister further called upon the youth to be grass rooters instead of parachuters to excel in lives. He said that the grass-rooters are those who arise from the ground to conquer the entire world adding that for these hard-workers only the sky is limit. Bhagwant Singh Mann said that the parachutists come directly from the sky and will eventually fall to the ground.
The Chief Minister said that the state government fills all the posts as soon as they are vacant in the department. He stated that the government has adopted a foolproof mechanism for the entire recruitment process, ensuring that no one has challenged any of the nearly 50,000 job appointments in court so far.Bhagwant Singh Mann highlighted that the Punjab government takes pride in providing these government jobs to youth purely based on merit.

The Chief Minister said that now these youth have become integral part of the government adding that now should serve the people with missionary zeal. Bhagwant Singh Mann hoped that the new recruits will use their pen for helping the needy and underprivileged sections of society. He urged the newly recruited youth to ensure maximum public welfare so that every section of society benefits from it.
The Chief Minister urged the youth not to feel proud of their achievement but to stay humble and work hard for more success. Bhagwant Singh Mann exhorted the newly recruited youth to stay grounded even after getting these posts and believe in hard work as it is the sole key to success. He said that the youth must utilize this platform to further become successful but besides being a fine human being.
state government to emerge Punjab as hub of the medical education
The Chief Minister reiterated the firm commitment of the state government to emerge Punjab as hub of the medical education. He said that the work is going on in full swing for constructing upcoming medical colleges at SAS Nagar (Mohali), Kapurthala, Sangrur, Hoshiarpur and Malerkotla. Bhagwant Singh Mann said that these medical colleges and hospitals aim to make the state a hub of medical education in the country, thereby immensely benefiting the people of Punjab.

The Chief Minister also said that the state government is opening hi-tech centres for imparting training to the students for competitive exams. Bhagwant Singh Mann said that these centres will provide quality training to youth for clearing the UPSC exams and sit on coveted positions in state and country. He said that the target of the state government is to ensure that youth sit in high offices and serve the country.

The Chief Minister quipped that Sukhbir Singh Badal, a convent-educated political leader of Punjab, is unaware of the basic topography of the state but wants to attain political power in Punjab.Similarly, he said that Captain Amarinder Singh and his family has a dubious track record of deceiving Punjab by standing by every force inimical to state whether they were Mughals, Britishers or now BJP. Likewise, Bhagwant Singh Mann said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi was a master of phraseology who can connect himself with anything or place as per his whims and fancies.
